So for this post I think I will just ask everyone to think about what they want out of their style and fashion statements this year. Do you want simple and versatile? Bright and glamorous? A combination of styles? What look are you wanting to go for? Once you have that figured out, determine how you are going to achieve that look and style. Will you use things you already have? Are there a few key accessories or articles of clothing that will need to be purchased to create the look you are going for? Next, determine how much you will spend (if anything needs to be purchased). Considering I am a bargain shopper and love thrifty finds, be wise and reasonable in choosing how much you will spend. Like always, you don't have to go broke to get all the "in" things.
Finally, go out and purchase those items and put outfits together! Stick to the list of items you determine you needed to get the look you are going for...don't stray from that list!
Little bit of advice:
- When you put together an outfit that you absolutely love and recieved many compliments on, take a picture of it!
- Preferably, spend a Saturday afternoon going through your closet and putting together outfits that you like or think go together and take pictures of it. This will come in handy when you can't decide what you want to wear and you have ten minutes to get ready!
Your Fashionista,
Justina
